As part of the RI SING 50 (Republic Indonesia and Singapore 50 anniversary) celebrations of bilateral relations, the 4-day interfaith exchange programme involved faith leaders of the main faiths from both nations, who engaged in several dialogues and visits to faith institutions in Singapore.

Held at the MND Auditorium, Minister for Social and Family Development, Tan Chuan-Jin, graced the event as Guest of Honour, along with ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from other embassies and senior civil servants from Indonesia. Indonesian Minister for Religious Affairs, Mr Lukman Hakim Saifuddien, and Senior Minister of State for Defence and Foreign Affairs, Dr Maliki Osman attended as the Special Guests.

To commemorate the event, Minister Tan Chuan-Jin launched the RI SING 50 Publication, which featured articles written by Imam of Ba‘alwie Mosque, Habib Hassan al-Attas, 05 Fascinating Facts between the two nations, and congratulatory messages from various institutional partners.

The RI SING 50 Publication was circulated throughout the week among guests and international delegates, culminating at the Closing Gathering held on 14 July and graced by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure & Minister for Transport, Khaw Boon Wan, as Guest of Honour.
