Common Senses for Common Spaces

Brand Identity & Event Design

The ‘Common Senses for Common Spaces’ (CSCS) interfaith dialogue series seeks to encourage more interaction for a deeper interfaith understanding through the exchanges on key and common religious practices, with the desired outcome that such engagement and acquaintance would help foster greater social harmony and trust.

Conceptualised in 2016 and launched as a programme adopted by Singapore’s South East CDC, the series saw a run of four dialogues that revolved on interesting topics based on the human senses — ‘Sacred Rendezvous’ (on pilgrimages and on touch/feeling), ‘Follow that Rainbow’ (on colours and sight), ‘Holy Smoke!’ (on incense and scents), and ‘Pop up the Soul’ (on music, chants and hearing). Internationally renowned faith leaders and working professionals in their respective fields were invited as speakers for the event, taking cue from the first dialogue prior to the series’ launch.

To accompany the dialogue series, various master visuals were created and used throughout the programme’s run, such as on emailers/EDMs, signages, and event backdrops. As a conclusion to the series, a CSCS Compilation Booklet was created to document the programme’s successful run.
